Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide services in a K8 school setting in Glendale, Arizona for the 20262027 school year. This position is scheduled for 37.5 hours per week, with a caseload expected to fall within the average range. The OT will likely work primarily at one school site while also providing support to a self-contained classroom/program at another site.

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to K8 students based on individual needs and IEP goals
  • Assess students and develop appropriate treatment plans
  • Provide direct and consultative OT services as outlined in student IEPs
  • Support students in accessing and participating in their educational environment
  • Provide OT support to a self-contained classroom/program at an additional school site
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other members of the educational team
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered planning
  • Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports

  • Ability to adapt therapy strategies to individual student needs
  • Comfortable supporting students in both general and specialized educational settings

Qualifications

  • Arizona Occupational Therapist (OT) License
  • AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
  • Ability to provide school-based occupational therapy services

Experience

  • School-based OT experience is preferred but not required

Education

  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Work Hours & Industry

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Caseload: Approximately 6070 students, depending on assignment; caseloads are expected to remain within the average range
