Step into an impactful role supporting students as an Occupational Therapist in a dynamic school environment near Glendale, AZ. This on-site, contract opportunity runs from ASAP through December, providing focused support to a caseload of students, many of whom are impacted by Autism. With a stable 37.5-hour workweek, youll play a key part in helping students develop the skills they need for success in both academic and everyday activities.

Key Qualifications:

• Current Arizona Occupational Therapist (OT) license required
• Valid IVP fingerprint card (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Experience working with children and young people, especially those on the Autism spectrum, is highly preferred
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators and families
• Ability to adapt and design individualized interventions in a school setting

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with diverse needs
• Utilize evidence-based strategies and interventions supporting students fine motor, sensory, and life skills
• Document progress and maintain compliance with educational and legal requirements
• Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and support staff to promote student growth
• Participate actively in student meetings, IEP development, and team consultations
