Job Description

With a welcoming and collaborative environment, youll address a diverse caseload of students primarily from kindergarten through 8th grademost with Autism, developmental delays, and Down syndromehelping them thrive in their academic and daily routines.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Arizona OT license required
  • Active AZ fingerprint clearance card needed prior to starting
  • Previous experience in school-based occupational therapy is highly valued
  • Demonstrated skill in working with students with a range of needs, including Autism, DD, and Down syndrome
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Ability to attend meetings before and after school as needed

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to a varied caseload (K-8), focusing on evaluations and interventions adapted to the unique needs of each student
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to create supportive learning environments
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop tailored IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate records in compliance with school and legal requirements
  • Participate actively in school meetings, offering insights and recommendations for student success
  • No supervision of COTAs required

  • 32.5-hour workweeks, with typical hours between 8am and 3pm or 8:40am to 3:30pmoffering a balanced schedule
