Key Qualifications:
- Active Arizona Occupational Therapist license
- IVP fingerprint clearance card required
- Experience with school-based Occupational Therapy preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to adapt strategies for diverse student needs across a wide age range
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive assessments and therapy to students from PreK to grade 8
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to enhance students educational performance
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student progress
- Monitor and document student outcomes, maintaining accurate records according to state and school guidelines
- Provide consultation and support for classroom modifications, sensory needs, and adaptive equipment
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering professional insights to develop effective accommodations and strategies
