Job Description

Step into a dynamic educational setting, providing essential Occupational Therapy services to students from PreK through 8th grade. This contract role offers the chance to collaborate with dedicated educators and help young learners develop skills that will serve them throughout their academic journey. Based near Glendale, AZ, this full-time position runs from early August 2026 through late May 2027 (dates subject to change), and involves working as part of a team of three OTs.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid state Occupational Therapy license required
  • IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card (IVP FP Card) essential
  • Previous experience in school-based settings strongly preferred
  • Dedicated to working collaboratively with teachers, parents, and fellow therapists
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills

Core Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students, addressing fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills
  • Provide direct therapy services and consultative support within inclusive classroom environments
  • Document progress and maintain accurate records according to school and state guidelines
  • Educate and empower staff and families to carry over strategies in the classroom and at home
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contributing to goal setting and progress discussions
  • Offer input for program development and help foster a positive learning atmosphere
