Providing specialized occupational therapy services in educational settings, this contract role offers the opportunity to support students affected by Autism during the 26/27 school year. The position is based onsite in Glendale, AZ, requiring 37.5 hours per week dedicated to student caseloads. Multiple openings are available, with separate postings for East Valley, AZ, and Phoenix, AZ.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to students impacted by Autism
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized intervention plans
- Conduct assessments and document student progress according to established guidelines
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
- Maintain compliance with licensing and district policies
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid Arizona Occupational Therapist (OT) license
- IVP fingerprint clearance card as required for school employment
- Experience working with school-aged children, particularly those with Autism
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work onsite for the full school year
