In this full-time contract role, youll work 37.5 hours per week throughout the 26/27 academic year, utilizing your OT expertise to help students achieve their educational goals.

Key Qualifications:

• Active Virginia Occupational Therapy license
• Experience or strong interest in working within a school setting
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Commitment to fostering student independence and participation

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to identify students needs and determine appropriate therapy interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support IEP development and implementation
• Deliver direct therapy services to students, targeting motor skills, adaptive behaviors, and functional independence
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as needed
• Educate school staff on best practices for supporting diverse learners throughout the school day
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute as a resource to the broader school community
