This full-time, contract role focuses on supporting students across 2-3 school locations near Glen Allen, VA. Work directly onsite with a diverse caseload, collaborating with teachers and staff to help students develop the skills they need to succeed in the classroom and beyond.

Applicants should be adept at school-based OT practices and eager to create inclusive learning environments tailored to the needs of each student.

Qualifications:

• Active Virginia Occupational Therapist license required
• Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to supporting students individual educational goals

Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to students at grade-level across 2-3 schools
• Assess student needs and design individualized intervention plans
• Work closely with educators and families to implement therapy strategies
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required by state and district guidelines
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
• Provide progress updates and adapt therapy as needed based on student performance
