This part-time contract opportunity spans the 2026-2027 academic year, providing supportive services district-widefrom preschool students to those in the 18-22 transition program. With a focus on flexibility, you'll have the chance to work 2-3 school days each week, specifically on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and one additional weekday.
Ideal candidates bring a strong foundation of previous school-based OT experience and are passionate about helping students reach their fullest potential at every stage of development.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with active credentials
- Demonstrated experience working in school settings
- Familiarity with a broad range of student ages and abilities, including early childhood and transition-aged youth
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and other support staff
- Ability to manage caseloads and adapt to various school environments
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students across multiple school locations
- Develop, implement, and document individualized treatment plans and goals
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support educational outcomes
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational planning
- Assess students needs and effectively adjust strategies
- Travel district-wide as needed to deliver services (preschool through transition programs)
