Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current licensure or eligibility to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Maryland.
• Prior experience working with school-aged children, preferably in an educational or pediatric setting.
• Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with IEP development and implementation processes.
• Ability to adapt therapeutic techniques to individual needs and classroom environments.
• Proficiency in evaluating, documenting, and reporting student progress effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students' needs and create personalized intervention plans.
• Deliver direct therapy to students individually or in group settings to promote fine motor, sensory-processing, self-care, and adaptive skills.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success.
• Monitor and document progress, making recommendations for modifications and assistive technology as appropriate.
• Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise to build well-rounded support plans.
• Provide training and resources for staff and families to promote generalization of skills across environments.
