Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapist license (active and in good standing)
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in school settings
  • Familiarity with educational needs across elementary, middle, and high school age groups
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches based on student needs
  • Knowledge of IEP processes and collaborative consultation
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and assess students to determine OT needs and eligibility
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support students educational goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other related service providers
  • Monitor progress, document outcomes, and participate in IEP meetings
  • Offer training and resources to staff and families as needed
  • Promote functional independence, motor skills, and self-care activities within the school environment
