Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students from preschool through high school in a dynamic educational environment near Genoa, CO. Youll play an essential role in helping students achieve their full potential by delivering expert occupational therapy services. This role is anticipated to run from August through the end of May, aligning with the 2026-2027 school year, with a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours.

You will be immersed onsite among dedicated educators, with a strong preference for in-person collaboration, but consideration may be given to virtual professionals with robust school-based experience.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Masters degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Valid state license to practice as an Occupational Therapist
  • Experience within school settings serving PK-12 student populations
  • Knowledge of IEP processes, evaluations, and plan development
  • Comfortable delivering both direct (individual and group) and consultative OT services
  • Strong communication and organizational skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams

What Youll Be Doing:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify student needs
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans in line with IEP goals
  • Attend and meaningfully participate in IEP meetings
  • Provide direct therapy and support teachers/families with effective strategies
  • Maintain thorough documentation and contribute to progress reports
  • Collaborate closely with educators, administrators, and families to promote student success
