With a weekly commitment of 37.5 hours, you'll have the ability to implement your expertise in both healthcare and school-based OT in a dynamic, engaging setting.
What youll bring to the role:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Illinois
- Background or experience in school-based OT or pediatric OT (K-12 preferred)
- Familiarity with adapting interventions for a diverse student population
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A passion for supporting students independence and school participation
Key responsibilities:
- Provide direct and consultative OT services to K-12 students
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school personnel
- Assess student needs and document progress toward IEP goals
- Support the educational team in fostering an inclusive learning environment
- Maintain accurate records and meet compliance standards for school-based therapy
