Job Description

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current AZ Occupational Therapist License required
  • IVP Fingerprint Card necessary for onsite assignments
  • Previous experience as an OT in a school setting preferred
  • Solid understanding of age-appropriate OT interventions for PreK-8th grade populations
  • Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized therapy plans
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate students' abilities and develop targeted intervention strategies
  • Work collaboratively with educators and families to design and implement customized therapy plans
  • Provide direct OT services and monitor student progress
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with school and state requirements
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide recommendations
  • Support students development of fine and gross motor skills, sensory processing, and occupational performance within the school environment
