What Were Looking For:

• Active, unrestricted Michigan Occupational Therapist license
• Proven experience delivering OT services in school or pediatric settings
• Comfort working independently, as this position offers no direct supervision
• Knowledge of strategies and interventions for a variety of behavioral and developmental disabilities
• Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills
• Compassion, adaptability, and a student-centered mindset

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Conducting thorough assessments to identify students occupational therapy needs
• Developing individualized intervention plans in collaboration with educators and families
• Implementing therapeutic activities to enhance students participation, motor skills, and independence in the classroom
• Consulting with teachers and support staff to integrate best practices throughout the students school day
• Maintaining detailed records of progress and documentation as required
• Traveling between multiple elementary school sites as needed (all local to the Fruitport area)
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing valuable OT insights to the team
