Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current OT license for the state (or eligibility by start date)
- Previous experience providing OT services in school settings preferred
- Expertise in developing and implementing IEPs and therapeutic interventions
- Ability to work effectively with students across K-12 grade levels
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Flexibility in collaborating with various school staff, families, and service providers
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide direct and consultative services for students with diverse needs
- Work with classroom teachers to adapt lessons and environments, supporting accessibility and student participation
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing professional input on student goals, progress, and strategies
- Foster a positive, supportive environment that encourages student development and independence
