Job Description

Seeking licensed Occupational Therapists to make a difference in the educational journeys of K-12 students for the upcoming 2026/27 academic year. This contract opportunity is designed for those eager to use their expertise across two vibrant school sites, serving a diverse student population near Fremont, CA. You'll have the chance to shape therapy services in a charter school setting, benefiting from clear administrative support and paid time for indirect services, including team meetings and report writing.

Key Requirements:

  • California Occupational Therapy license in good standing
  • School-based OT experience preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates welcome to apply
  • Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation
  • Ability to travel between two school locations (itinerant, paid travel)
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills; thrives in dynamic, collaborative settings
  • Adaptability for a .5 FTE or 1.0 FTE schedule
  • Comfortable utilizing electronic IEP systems (training provided, if needed)

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students with a range of needs, both direct and consultative
  • Complete assessments, design interventions, and contribute to IEP meetings
  • Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to maximize student outcomes
  • Monitor and document progress per district guidelines
  • Participate in paid administrative time and team meetings
  • Maintain compliance with district and state requirements
