Occupational Therapist (OT) School-Based Contract | Franklin Park, IL

A school district in Franklin Park, Illinois is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time, school-based position involves supporting students with a range of developmental and functional needs across educational settings.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for pediatric therapy and helping students improve the skills necessary for academic participation and daily school activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and develop student-centered treatment plans.
  • Provide direct therapy services focused on fine motor development, sensory regulation, self-care, and classroom accessibility.
  • Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, special education staff, and families to support student progress.
  • Assist in creating and monitoring IEP goals and accommodations.
  • Maintain detailed therapy documentation and progress reporting in accordance with district guidelines.
  • Deliver services through both in-person and teletherapy formats when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license required.
  • School-based or pediatric occupational therapy experience preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable working with students across various grade levels and needs.
