Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as an Onsite Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) supporting students for the 2026-2027 academic year. This full-time position offers the chance to work closely with students and staff across school sites in the Columbus, GA area, making a lasting impact in educational settings. School locations are yet to be finalized and caseload assignments will be matched to your expertise and preferences.
Key Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license for Georgia required
- At least one year of clinical OT experience preferred, especially with pediatric populations
- Prior experience as a COTA in a school setting is highly valued (COTAs with this background will be strongly considered)
- Strong communication skills and collaborative mindset
- Availability to work onsite, as only in-person candidates will be considered
Core Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to meet students educational goals as assigned
- Evaluate, develop, and implement customized therapy plans, adapting to each students developmental needs
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress and advocate for best practices
- Maintain accurate documentation on student progress and meet compliance standards
- Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings as required
