Job Description

This opportunity is for a licensed Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support K-12 students in a schools setting in Columbus, GA. The role requires a valid Georgia OT or COTA license to provide high-quality therapeutic services that address students' functional and developmental needs throughout the academic year.

Key Qualifications:

  • Current and active GA OT or COTA licensure
  • Experience working in educational environments preferred
  • Strong understanding of pediatric occupational therapy interventions
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams

Position Details:

  • Location: Columbus, GA
  • Setting: K-12 School
  • Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Friday
  • Contract type: School Year (CSY)

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and treat school-aged children to improve their occupational performance
  • Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each student
  • Document therapy progress and maintain compliance with educational and professional standards
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and other school staff to integrate therapy goals within the classroom
  • Participate in team meetings and student support planning activities
