Qualifications & Experience:

• Active and valid Occupational Therapist license for the state of Texas
• Prior experience in a school-based occupational therapy setting preferred
• Strong understanding of pediatric and adolescent development
• Skill in adapting therapies to meet individual student needs and IEP goals
• Clear communication and collaborative abilities with teachers, families, and staff
• Professional and compassionate approach to supporting children in educational environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations and assessments of students referred for occupational therapy
• Develop, implement, and update individualized therapy plans based on student goals and needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to integrate therapy into the classroom
• Document progress and maintain thorough records in compliance with district and state guidelines
• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to K-12 students
• Educate staff and families on strategies and accommodations to assist students
