Job Description

A K-12 school in Fort Benning, GA, is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to provide therapy services under a contract for the current school year. This role involves delivering specialized occupational therapy to students across a wide age range, supporting their educational and developmental needs.

Location: Columbus, GA
Duration: Contract for the current school year (CSY)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days per week
Age Group: K-12 students

Qualifications:

  • Valid Georgia OT or COTA license
  • Experience working in school settings preferred
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with educators and families

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans
  • Implement therapy interventions focused on improving student participation in school activities
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student success
