In this contract position, collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to help students achieve their full potential and thrive in both academic and daily life.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state (or eligibility to obtain)
• Previous experience in a school setting is highly valued
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children and adolescents with diverse needs
• Strong assessment and intervention skills using evidence-based practices
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities
• Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement effective strategies
• Passion for fostering independence and promoting student success

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify students strengths and areas of need
• Develop and implement individualized intervention plans aligned with IEP goals
• Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in groups
• Support students ability to participate in classroom and school activities
• Educate and consult with teachers, support staff, and families on adaptive strategies and accommodations
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation for all services rendered
• Participate in IEP meetings and progress reviews as an essential member of the multidisciplinary team
