Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Valid California Occupational Therapist license or eligibility
• Previous experience in educational settings preferred
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Enthusiasm for working with children and young people of diverse backgrounds and abilities

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Conduct assessments and interpret results to determine students therapy needs and appropriate goals
• Develop and implement therapy plans that promote academic access and achieve student-specific objectives
• Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in accordance with school policies
• Consult with teachers and staff to recommend classroom modifications and strategies
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute insights for student planning
• Educate and support families regarding therapy approaches and home carry-over activities
