Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract assignment supporting students with diverse needs across K-12 settings. We're seeking skilled and independent Occupational Therapists to provide essential services in a dynamic school environment. One full-time opening follows a typical extended school year calendar, while the second is a full-time maternity leave coverage, projected to start in August and end in March.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active California Occupational Therapy license
  • Previous experience providing OT services in California schools
  • Familiarity with administering the BOT-3 and Peabody assessments for students aged 3-22 with various disabilities
  • Strong data-driven approach to addressing parent concerns and informing service recommendations
  • Ability to independently manage fluctuating caseloads, including assessments and consultations
  • Comfort working in the field with minimal district supportself-motivated scheduling required
  • Experience with itinerant positions highly advantageous
  • Bilingual Spanish skills are a plus, but not required
  • Required to work autonomously; no COTAs or supervised roles available

Role Responsibilities:

  • Deliver OT assessments, consultations, and interventions for a mild-to-severe caseload
  • Serve students with diverse needs, supporting IEP goals and addressing adaptive, fine motor, and sensory processing skills
  • Communicate effectively with parents, educators, and support staff to maximize student success
  • Adapt to changing district needs and caseloads
  • Maintain high standards of documentation and ethical practice
