Job Description

Key Qualifications:

  • Active California Occupational Therapist license required
  • Previous experience delivering OT services in schools strongly preferred
  • Solid understanding of K-12 developmental stages and challenges
  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities
  • Positive, proactive approach to supporting student success

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services according to IEPs for a varied K-12 caseload
  • Assess students needs and collaborate with educational staff to develop and implement intervention plans
  • Document ongoing progress, prepare and update student reports, and maintain compliance with state and district requirements
  • Participate in IEP meetings, contribute expertise, and communicate regularly with teachers and parents
  • Support the integration of therapeutic strategies into classroom routines
  • Adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs and learning environments
