Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid California Occupational Therapy license (CA OT license is required)
- Experience or strong interest in working within an educational or pediatric setting
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
- Familiarity with IEP development, implementation, and documentation is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students needs for occupational therapy services
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans supporting educational achievement and functional independence
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services, utilizing evidence-based practices
- Document progress and maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings, working closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support student goals
