Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Valid California Occupational Therapy license required
- Experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting preferred
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student goals
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Enthusiasm for adapting to diverse student needs and abilities
Your Role & Duties:
- Conduct assessments to determine students occupational therapy needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that foster independence and academic achievement
- Work closely with other professionals to integrate OT strategies into classroom activities
- Track student progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with district and state protocols
- Educate teachers, families, and staff on best practices for supporting student wellness and participation
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing insights to shape students' learning environments
