Job Description
A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available working with students from Pre-K through 5th grade in an elementary school setting in Flint, MI. This in-person role operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, covering the remainder of the 2025/2026 school year under a contract arrangement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to Pre-K through 5th-grade students
- Collaborate with teachers and school staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Conduct assessments and document student progress in compliance with school guidelines
- Support the development of fine motor skills, sensory processing, and other developmental needs within the school environment
Required Qualifications:
- Possession of a valid Michigan Occupational Therapy License
- Experience working in school-based settings, preferably with elementary and Pre-K populations
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with educators, parents, and students
- Ability to work full-time hours on-site
