Qualifications & Experience Needed:

• Active Occupational Therapist license for the state of New Mexico (required)
• Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
• Strong understanding of pediatric and adolescent development
• Ability to adapt interventions for varying age groups (elementary, middle, and high school)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
• Deliver direct therapy and consultative services within multiple school settings
• Document progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
• Collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to support student goals
• Work with a caseload that may include disabilities ranging from mild to complex
• Provide resources and recommendations for classroom modifications and home activities
