Job Description

Desired Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current OT license (or eligibility) to practice in North Dakota
  • Previous experience in school environments preferred, but enthusiastic new graduates are welcome
  • Strong understanding of IEP process, documentation, and goal setting
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Adaptability and creativity when delivering therapy in diverse school settings

Role Responsibilities:

  • Assess students needs and develop individualized therapy plans
  • Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to meet students academic and functional needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to promote student progress
  • Maintain accurate records and progress documentation in accordance with school and state policies
  • Participate in IEP meetings, evaluations, and eligibility determinations
  • Offer training and guidance to educational staff to support student participation in the classroom
