Qualifications:
- Masters degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy program
- Active California OT license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Prior experience delivering occupational therapy services in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with students, staff, and families
- Skilled in evaluating students and developing individualized treatment plans
- Ability to work independently and manage a school-based caseload
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments to determine students needs and develop individualized goals
- Deliver direct therapy to students, addressing fine motor, sensory, and self-help skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other team members to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities
- Monitor and document student progress, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans
- Attend IEP meetings and contribute to comprehensive student support plans
- Participate in school-wide initiatives to promote accessibility and inclusion
