Providing occupational therapy services in a school setting for students ages 5 to 22, this contract position in Solano County offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a diverse student population. The role supports students from early elementary through transition-age, including options for Extended School Year (ESY) services. The assignment is based in the Fairfield area of California, serving multiple schools with an 0.8 FTE workload and potential to extend to full-time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized occupational therapy evaluations and interventions aligned with students educational goals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including teachers and support staff, to support student progress
- Implement teletherapy services as needed to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain thorough documentation and compliance with district policies and state regulations
- Participate in remote panel interviews via Zoom as part of the hiring process
Qualifications:
- Valid California Occupational Therapy (OT) license required
- Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred, including teletherapy delivery
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with educators and families
- Comfortable managing a caseload of students ages 5 through 22
- Ability to commit to the school calendar, from August 13, 2025, through June 10, 2026, with ESY options available

- Approximately 8 billable hours per day with a 0.8 full-time equivalent (FTE), possibility to increase to full-time
