Step into an engaging contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist supporting students across K-12+ age ranges in a thriving educational environment near Fairfield, CA. This assignment begins August 13, 2025, and extends through June 10, 2026, with options for ESY. With a flexible schedule (0.8 FTE, potential for full-time), you'll make a real difference in the lives of students ages 5-22.
This position involves working with multiple schools, collaborating with educators and families, and providing both in-person and teletherapy services. You'll play a pivotal role in helping students access their fullest potential, supporting a wide array of needs and developmental stages.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active California OT license required
- Prior experience in school-based or teletherapy occupational therapy (preferred)
- Strong communication skills and adaptability
- Commitment to fostering student independence and participation
- Ability to manage a dynamic caseload with varying age groups and needs
- Comfort with technology platforms for remote sessions
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services aligned with students IEP goals, both onsite and via teletherapy as needed
- Collaborate with school teams, families, and support staff to ensure holistic student progress
- Complete timely documentation and reports
- Attend team meetings and contribute insights for student-centered planning
- Monitor and adjust interventions to maximize student success
- Participate in onboarding and training provided by the school district
