Job Description

Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students as a school-based Occupational Therapist for the upcoming academic year. This position offers a flexible schedule of 0.8 FTE, with potential to increase to full-time, serving students ages 5 to 22. Your work will be crucial in helping students reach their fullest potential, utilizing both in-person and teletherapy modalities as needed.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active California Occupational Therapist (OT) license is required
  • Experience in school-based OT settings preferred
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and protocols is a plus
  • Ability to manage a diverse caseload and adapt to students unique needs
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, parents, and educators
  • Credentialed candidates highly encouraged to apply

Job Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy services to students across assigned schools
  • Provide assessments, develop IEP goals, and maintain accurate documentation
  • Utilize teletherapy platforms as needed to reach students virtually
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to foster student progress
  • Participate in IEP meetings, progress reporting, and parent communications
  • Support students functional, sensory, and pre-academic skills development
