Job Description

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active New Hampshire occupational therapist license required
  • Prior school-based OT experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of developmental, sensory, and academic needs across K-12 age groups
  • Proficient in creating individualized plans and adapting interventions for a variety of learning abilities
  • Excellent communication skills for working closely with educators, students, and families
  • Ability to manage caseload and documentation efficiently

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify student needs and skill levels
  • Develop and implement tailored interventions for students from elementary through high school
  • Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and families to support academic participation and social-emotional development
  • Monitor progress and adjust therapy goals as required, maintaining thorough documentation
  • Provide training, strategies, and in-class support for educational teams to promote student independence
  • Attend IEP meetings and contribute to the development of student plans
  • Stay current with best practices in school-based occupational therapy
