Qualifications and Skills:
- Current Occupational Therapist licensure and certification
- Experience delivering school-based OT services for children and adolescents
- Familiarity with home health occupational therapy and teletherapy modalities
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation abilities
- Ability to adapt to different environments and student needs
- Knowledge of IEP development and goal tracking for school settings
- Comfortable working independently as well as part of multidisciplinary teams
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assess students needs and strengths using standardized assessment tools
- Design and deliver individualized occupational therapy interventions
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide thorough documentation for student files
- Adjust strategies as needed for in-home, in-person, and teletherapy services
- Maintain accurate and timely records in compliance with all regulations and standards
- Foster growth in fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom participation
