Job Description

This opportunity is for an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive services to K-12 students in a vibrant school district located in Everett, WA. This full-time, contract position runs through the current school year with the possibility of extension for the 2026-2027 school year. The role requires onsite presence and offers the chance to support a diverse caseload of students aged 3 to 22 across the district.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy evaluations and interventions tailored to individual student needs in a school setting.
  • Collaborate with a certified occupational therapy assistant (COTA) and educational teams to develop and implement IEP goals.
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 70 students with varying needs.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to student progress monitoring.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State Occupational Therapy license mandatory.
  • Experience working with school-aged children is preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative educational environment.

Location: Everett, WA
Job Type: Contract, Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)
Duration: Current school year through June 12, 2026, with potential extension
