Key Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist license
  • Experience working in K-12 educational environments preferred
  • Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Adaptability to serve students of varying needs and backgrounds

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans to support students functional abilities in the classroom
  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to a diverse caseload of kindergarten through 12th grade students
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support IEP development and implementation
  • Document student progress and maintain compliance with state, federal, and district standards
  • Consult with faculty and families, providing strategies for supporting student success across academic and daily living activities
