Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist license
- Experience working in K-12 educational environments preferred
- Ability to collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Adaptability to serve students of varying needs and backgrounds
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans to support students functional abilities in the classroom
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to a diverse caseload of kindergarten through 12th grade students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support IEP development and implementation
- Document student progress and maintain compliance with state, federal, and district standards
- Consult with faculty and families, providing strategies for supporting student success across academic and daily living activities
