This opportunity is for an experienced Occupational Therapist specializing in school-based therapy, located in Evanston, IL. The position offers a full-time contract for the 2026/2027 school year, with a commitment of 37.5 hours per week. The role supports students through in-person and teletherapy services, providing interventions in Early Childhood, Elementary, or Middle School settings.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering occupational therapy services to students within the school environment.
- Utilizing teletherapy platforms to provide effective remote interventions.
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student development.
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans aligned with educational goals.
- Monitoring student progress and maintaining detailed documentation.
Qualifications and experience sought:
- Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) license is required.
- Experience working in school settings and teletherapy is highly beneficial.
- Ability to engage and support students across various age groups, including Early Childhood, Elementary, or Middle School.
