Provide specialized occupational therapy services for students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a very part-time role based in Espanola, NM. This contract position supports schools within the local district, offering therapy that promotes students' functional abilities and participation in the school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to K12 students under an itinerant model with approximately 3 hours of therapy weekly.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and state regulations.
- Participate in paid team meetings and administrative duties as required.
- Utilize indirect hours effectively for planning and reporting.
- Conduct telehealth or onsite sessions in available therapy spaces as appropriate.
