Key Qualifications:
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Background or experience in pediatric, school-based, and/or teletherapy settings
- Strong understanding of home health and broader healthcare OT practices
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to collaborate with educators, families, and support staff
- Organizational skills to manage caseload documentation and scheduling
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized intervention plans tailored to student needs
- Deliver OT services in-person within schools, as well as through teletherapy or home health models as needed
- Track progress, gather data, and adapt therapy approaches dynamically
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and caregivers to support educational and developmental outcomes
- Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations and updates
- Maintain thorough and accurate records in accordance with state and district requirements
