What Were Looking For:
- Active Colorado Department of Education Certificate
- Current Colorado Occupational Therapist license in good standing
- Previous experience in school settings or working with children (preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal, collaborative, and communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt to different school environments and varying caseloads
- Commitment to supporting students in grades PreK through 12, as assignments may vary
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess students' needs and develop customized treatment plans
- Deliver direct occupational therapy services to help students achieve educational goals
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Document progress and maintain accurate records in accordance with district guidelines
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to individualized student plans
- Travel between assigned schools within the district as needed
