Sunbelt Staffing is actively seeking a Full-Time Occupational Therapist (OT) for a school-based position located near Franklin Park, Illinois. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a diverse high school and transition-aged population in a structured and supportive educational setting.
Job Details
Location: Franklin Park, IL (Main Office)
Schedule: Monday Friday
Hours: 35 hours per week
Work Hours: 7:30 AM 3:00 PM (includes 30-minute duty-free lunch)
Student Population
Students ranging from 9th grade through transition programs
Provide services to individuals preparing for adulthood and post-secondary independence
Caseload & Responsibilities
Manage a varied caseload of students with diverse needs
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans
Collaborate with:
Special education staff
Teachers and support personnel
Multidisciplinary teams
Support students in achieving functional independence and academic success
Types of Disabilities
Students with a variety of disabilities, requiring individualized and adaptive therapy approaches
Minimum Qualifications
Active Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) License (Required)
School-based or pediatric experience preferred
Strong collaboration and communication skills
Interview Availability
Monday at 9:00 AM
Tuesday at 3:00 PM
