Working in a specialized school serving ages 621, youll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and gain exposure to a variety of therapy delivery models, including OT in school-based settings, home health, and teletherapy. Qualifications/Skills:
- Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Maryland
- Experience with school-aged children, ideally in specialized or itinerant settings
- Proficiency in at least one of the following: OT (Schools, Home Health, Healthcare, Teletherapy)
- Comfortable working with ages 621 in a specialized school environment
- Strong communication and organizational abilities
- Not open to COTAs; OTs only
Responsibilities:
- Deliver OT services across various sites and modalities as required (including travel between school locations)
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for students on an 11-month school schedule
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and district leaders to optimize student outcomes
- Participate in in-person meetings, including paid team meetings and administrative activities
- Document progress and services accurately and in accordance with IEP requirements
