Job Description

Embark on a rewarding opportunity supporting high school students as an onsite Occupational Therapist during a maternity leave coverage assignment for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role offers the chance to make a significant impact within an educational setting, working collaboratively with staff to address students functional, physical, and academic needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Occupational Therapy services at four high schools, tailoring interventions to meet the individualized education plans (IEPs) of each student.
  • Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver one-on-one or small group therapy sessions focused on improving students' skills for academic success.
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to ensure cohesive student support and progress monitoring.
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with school and state requirements.
  • Adapt recommendations and interventions based on student needs, promoting an inclusive and accessible learning environment.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Current Occupational Therapist license in the state of Minnesota (MN OT license required for consideration).
  • Experience delivering OT services in educational settings, preferably at the high school level.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Flexible and resourceful, comfortable with covering a maternity leave.
  • Availability to work onsite from approximately September 2, 2026, through February 1, 2027.
  • Commitment to a full-time schedule, Monday through Friday.
