Step into a fulfilling contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist supporting elementary students in a dynamic school environment near Elgin, IL. This onsite position spans the academic year from August 17, 2026, through May 28, 2027, with a commitment of 35 hours per week. You'll work in various resource and self-contained settings, collaborating with educators and families to empower young learners through individualized interventions and creative, student-centered care.

Desired Qualifications:
- Active Illinois Occupational Therapist license
- Recent experience in a school-based or pediatric setting
- Strong understanding of elementary student needs, especially within resource and self-contained classrooms
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Passion for helping students reach their fullest potential
Role Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
- Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services
- Track progress and maintain detailed, compliant records
- Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to maximize student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team conferences
- Adapt interventions to a variety of learning environments within the district
