This full-time, contract position offers a balanced schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:45 am to 3:15 pm, working with a flexible and diverse student caseload that may include Early Childhood Assessment Teams and multiple elementary buildings.

Essential Qualifications:

• Active Illinois Occupational Therapist credentials
• Previous experience supporting K-12 students in a school setting preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to consult and collaborate effectively
• Passion for fostering the independence and success of children with diverse needs
• Capability to adapt services across various ages, caseload sizes, and multiple school sites

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services tailored to students individual education plans
• Assess students needs, develop intervention strategies, and monitor progress
• Work closely with teachers, specialists, and families to integrate therapy into the school environment
• Participate as an active member of the Early Childhood Assessment Team, when needed
• Document evaluations, therapy sessions, and progress according to district guidelines
• Adjust schedules and service delivery as needed to support multiple school sites
