Throughout the 26/27 school year, youll collaborate with a dedicated team to foster independence and developmental progress for students with diverse needs.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Current Masters degree in Occupational Therapy
• Active Illinois OT license
• Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, staff, and families
• Adaptability and creativity in implementing individualized interventions

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and consultative OT services to students in a therapeutic day school
• Conduct assessments to determine needs and develop personalized goals
• Develop and implement IEP goals in coordination with multidisciplinary teams
• Document progress and maintain detailed reports on student performance
• Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and support staff
• Create a positive, motivating atmosphere to encourage student participation and success
• 32.5 hours per week; actively engage in team meetings and professional development
