Job Description

You'll work onsite, serving schools near the Algonquin and Carpentersville areas, with a consistent Monday-Friday schedule totaling 37.5 hours per week.

Your experience in school-based OT, paired with healthcare knowledge, will empower students to reach their fullest potential. Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to create supportive learning environments tailored to each childs needs.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid Occupational Therapy license (Illinois)
  • Background in school settings or pediatric populations preferred
  • Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse student needs across K-12

Core Responsibilities:

  • Deliver therapy services individually and in groups within the school system
  • Create, implement, and update individualized treatment plans
  • Monitor and document progress toward established student goals
  • Consult with educators and families to integrate OT strategies into daily routines
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered solutions
