This contract opportunity offers both full-time (37.5 hours) and part-time (32 hours) options for dedicated OTs near Burlington and Elgin, IL, for the upcoming 26/27 school year. Key Qualifications:
- Valid Illinois Occupational Therapist license (IL OT)
- Prior experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP process and related documentation
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Commitment to fostering growth, independence, and inclusion for students of all abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative OT services for K-12 students as part of a dynamic multi-disciplinary team
- Assess, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' sensory, motor, and functional needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and school staff to support students within the classroom and across the school environment
- Document assessments, progress, and service delivery in compliance with school and state guidelines
- Attend IEP and team meetings to provide professional insights and recommendations for student accommodations and goals
